Queen Latifah, singer and actress, recently showed off her curves in a bikini. The makeup and weight loss program endorser wore the bikini while on vacation in a beach in Barbados. The Grammy Award winner and Oscar nominated actress was spotted on a beach in Barbados while having fun in the sun as well as trying her luck in surfing the waves.Many observed, however, that while Queen Latifah did look good in a bikini, she somehow gained a bit of the weight back amidst being one of the endorsers of the popular Jenny Craig weight loss program.
Still, the Jenny Craig weight loss program spokeswoman proudly flaunted her curves in her blue bikini.
Forty one year old Queen Latifah started becoming the spokeswoman for the Jenny Craig weight loss program in 2008.
The statuesque star has made it clear that her intention was never to be stick thin, but to improve her health. She was quoted as saying: “I don’t want to be skinny. I had read that if you lost five percent of your body weight, you could cut your chances of things like heart disease in half. Jenny Craig mentioned the same statistic to me, so we connected on a health level.”
The following year, the weight loss program management released a media statement saying that the rapper turned actress successfully lost 20 pounds and dropped 20 cholesterol points.
“Queen Latifah embodies the healthy lifestyle principles and character that Jenny Craig stands for and we look forward to another great year,” the statement said.
